ABSTRACT
6 Finance Minister Michael Sarris, in Moscow, reported no deal yet for further borrowing from Russia to help avoid a Cypriot bank collapse. Cyprus lawmakers on Tue. rejected European bailout terms for a 5.8% bank deposit levy. Many Russian businesses and people use Cyprus as a fin'l haven. Cyprus banks will remain closed for the rest of the week. European officials threatened to cut off Cyprus if it doesn't act soon.
