ABSTRACT
The article considers compliance by corporate marketers with Dot-Com Disclosures, guidelines on Internet marketing and advertising regulations issued by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Compliance methods for updates to the guidelines issued by the agency related to the presentation of Internet advertising disclaimers and disclosures on the smaller screens of smartphones and tablet computers, the use of hyperlinks and use of the social media Website Twitter are discussed.
