ABSTRACT
The author shares his view on the 10th year anniversary of the U.S.' invasion in Iraq. It chronicles America's invasion against one of the world's oil-rich countries, under former President George w. Bush's administration, and outlines the outcome of the 2003 intrusion, which resulted to the 116,000 to 122,000 civilian casualties. The author also ponders the lessons learned from the invasion and the importance of planning a way out before taking control of a country.
