ABSTRACT
The article reports on an agreement by European Parliament's economic and monetary affairs committee regarding the restriction of managers' bonuses to 100 per cent of basic salary. According to Green MEP Sven Giegold, a level playing field following the cap on bankers' bonuses will be created. It is noted that committee's plan will put to a vote and will be considered by the European Commission if passed.
