ABSTRACT
The article examines the interrelations between economic discourses, dispositives and cultures of competition. It provides a new method to the sociology of markets. The author discusses the application of this approach and his notion of competition dispositives to the analysis of financial markets with reference to the Foucaultian theory of discursive practices and dispositives.
