ABSTRACT
The article reports on topics related to subsea systems in the oil and gas industry as of May 1, 2013. FMC Technologies Inc. will provide Statoil with subsea equipment worth $96 million for its Smørbukk South Extension Project in the Norwegian Sea. Fugro Chance Inc. and Coda Octopus Group Inc. signed a two-year agreement to develop Coda Octopus Echoscope three dimensional (3D) sonar technology. Petrobras SA has signed a frame agreement with Aker Solutions for subsea equipment.
