ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the key provisions of the immigration bill that are pertinent in the U.S. landscape industry. The bill would reportedly reinstate the returning-worker exemption and includes language similar to the 2008 wage methodology. The W visa program for low-skill workers also enables spouses and minor children to accompany workers to the country. The bill will also require employers to use the online system for to verify if workers are legally permitted to work in the country.
