The article offers suggestions to choose the right social media platform from several social networking sites. It states that Twitter, Facebook and YouTube are such platforms which provide important connections to customers. It provides a five-point checklist that helps in making social media efforts including accomplishment of business goals, understanding of the platform and the resources available such as time, investment and manpower.
