ABSTRACT
The article discusses the phytochemical cpmposition of the essential oil of Prunella grandiflora, which is a perennial herb found in Europe and West Asia. It says that the essential oil of P. grandiflora was isolated by hydrodistillation and analyzed by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC MS). It mentions that phenylacetaldehyde was identified as the major constituent of the oil of Suregada zanzibariensis leaves.
