ABSTRACT
THERE was uproar in Ireland over the state's seven billion euro bailout of revoltingly greedy bankers, who were heard laughing about their villainy on a tape. A recent arrival to the Emerald Isle says: 'They thought they were Masters of the Universe. I have never seen this level of contempt for government. They should go to jail.' Who is this sensible fellow? It's Nick Leeson, 46, the 'rogue trader' who, in 1995, was jailed for bringing down Barings Bank with trading losses of £827million. Takes one to know one!
