ABSTRACT
The strategy of a construction company taking part in a tender will be different depending on time and area. While decision-making in the time of prosperity the strategy will be different from the time of recession. There is a distinct procedure in the case of large-scale contracts than in the case of small-scale proj ects. The environment is a key factor in the process of formation of the strategy. The process of domestic tenders is not the same as the process of foreign tenders. The selected strategy may also be influenced by family and personal relationships of the involved subjects.
