ABSTRACT
The article presents the 24 companies selected for the first Made in America listing, for manufacturing green products and maintaining active plants in the U.S. The key plant sustainability efforts of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems manufacturer 1SolTech include on-site power generation, green roofing and provision of employee conservation incentives. Building and construction materials supplier Boral Bricks Inc. recycles all manufacturing process materials, resulting in zero waste.
