ABSTRACT
The article discusses the trend of early electronic sell-through (EST) in film distribution. Walt Disney Pictures' "Iron Man 3" will be available for high-definition download three weeks earlier of its home-video release. Some of the movie studios that combined their digital and disc divisions included Sony, Fox and Paramount. The DVD losses in home entertainment are compensated by a combination of Blu-ray sales and digital.
