ABSTRACT
The article presents a notice from the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) on the proposed rulemaking to revise its test procedures for direct heating equipment and pool heaters established under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act. It states that the proposed amendments would add provisions for testing vented home heating equipment and incorporate the air-conditioning, heating and refrigeration standards.
