ABSTRACT
The article informs that in 1917 Australians made one of the last-and most successful-cavalry charges of World War. About, 800 Australian mounted infantry of the 4th Light Horse Brigade looked from the crest of a ridge across four miles of open, gently sloping ground at the fortified town. The 4th on the right and 12th on the left walked off the ridge and down onto the plain.
