ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the Origin Green initiative launched by the Irish food board, Bord Bia in 2012. Aside from certifying 75% of Irish food and drink exports as sustainably produced from Origin Green audited farms by end of 2014, the initiative's goal is for all food and drink to be certified as on the road to sustainability by 2016. The initiative was introduced by Bord Bia to food retailers and manufacturers through a conference titled Sustainability: The Bottom Line.
