ABSTRACT
In this paper we analyze the links between pedagogy and environmental education. This relationship begins with habituation processes and institutionalization of environmental education. We present the main features of the pedagogies of the environment, also the main aspects of each "approach" to environmental education. The issues addressed in the article, allow us to understand the importance of environmental education for the formation of citizens informed, critical, participatory and committed with a harmonious relationship with the environment.
