ABSTRACT
The article discusses aspects of ethical investment as a trade off between investment returns and investors desire based on personal beliefs and/or ideals. It refers to the scenario confronted by the Co-operative Bank PLC wherein its stake was reduced to 30 percent and a much larger stake from a collection of hedge funds. Moreover, ethical investing has drawn interest among investors as the ethical funds reached an all-time igh of £12.2 billion.
