ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the health care reforms under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. It is said that the program promises around 30 million uninsured Americans would receive health insurance. It looks at the true costs of the program as well as the costs of implementation which showed that Obamacare would add to the federal deficit. Criticisms over U.S. President Barack Obama's decision to favor a universal health mandate rather than a single-payer system are also discussed.
