ABSTRACT
The article explores the role of information and communication technology (ICT) in education. The implementation of ICT is recognized for enhancing education quality and for making the educational process more versatile. The importance of having technologically qualified teachers is noted. Also discussed are the abilities of using ICT that increase one's competitiveness in the labor market.
