ABSTRACT
A reprint of the article "Children and Backpack Safety" that was published by the Nebraska Nurses Association (NNA) is presented. It discusses lessons to ease the back pain of children going back to school including they way to select the right backpack that will fit the shoulders and back of the child as to recommendations of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). It also mentions the way to arrange items in the backpack and the National School Backpack Awareness Day of AOTA.
