ABSTRACT
In this article, the author discusses the importance of radiofrequency ablation as a first line treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF) with the help of randomized controlled trial (RCT). The author mentions that AF ablation can be recommended to patients with paroxysmal AF when antiarrhythmic drug failed. The author talks about study including use of transtelephonic monitor and electrocardiography (ECG) in this follow-up.
