ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study which investigated the promotion of information literacy among undergraduate students of Ashesi University College in Ghana. Topics discussed include the ethical and legal use of information, search strategies adopted by respondents, and usage of search tools. The importance of information literacy to any university library system due to its role in academic achievement and lifelong learning is also explored.
