ABSTRACT
The article offers information on breastfeeding and shares tips for mothers for continuing healthy nursing. Topics covered are the mechanism of breastmilk production and secretion, the components of breastmilk, the characteristics of colostrum and mature breastmilk, and the advantages of breastmilk both for babies and mothers. Also outlined are the steps involved when a baby suckles, and the steps to help the baby latch on during breastfeeding.
