The article urges employers to empower their employees to use social media, to nurture customer loyalty and business growth. However, to make the transformation most organizations will need to adopt a new mindset. Transformations involve strategy, technology and processes. All departments should be involved and executive leadership should lead by framing useful and clear social media policies which will help mitigate risk. Though the transformation takes time, it's worth for the business.
