ABSTRACT
The Federal Government's Energy Policies: 1978-79 High School Debate Analysis American Enterprise Institute. 1978. 80 pp. The first two chapters are intended to serve as ah introduction to the subject of energy resources and policy in general, and the last three address one of the 1978-79 high school debate topics: Resolve that the federal government should exclusively control the development and distribution of energy resources in the United States. Resolved that the federal government should establish a comprehensive program to significantly reduce energy consumption in the United States. Resolve that the federal government should establish a comprehensive program to significantly increase the energy independence of the United States, Also, included in this book are position statements solicited by the U.S. Department of Energy and various firms and interest groups.
