Carbohydrates are sugars, and they are found in numerous foods such as grain products, fruits, vegetables, other plant products, and even candy. Fats are the most concentrated form of food energy. Protein is a major building block for the body. Without protein, the body would not be able to build or repair its muscles and other bodily tissues. The body also need a host of vitamins and minerals.
