The article presents information about the book "The Reagan Record: An Assessment of America's Changing Domestic Priorities," by John L. Palmer and Isabel V. Sawhill. The book describes nine domestic policy areas ranging from government administration and the budget to nonprofit organizations, business and the family. The chapters are uniformly fact-filled and readable. The U.S. President Ronald Reagan promises and the specific Reagan policy proposals are presented along with the actions taken in response to the proposals and, ultimately, their implications for people and institutions.
