The article presents an outlook for the performance of the Russian RTS Equity Index as of June 2007. It is stated that after falling 15.0 percent in just over a month and breaking through two-year trendline resistance, the stock index is looking decidedly weak from a technical perspective. Analysts stressed that gains in 2007 would be much more slow going after the 72.4 percent increase in the index in 2006.
