ABSTRACT
The article presents a summary of risks to Vietnam's politics, economy and business environment. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has visited India on July 4-6, 2007, signing a strategic partnership agreement which will intensify cooperation between two countries. The government has asked the State Bank of Vietnam to review plans for the equitization of several state-owned firms. Prime Minister Dung has also approved a plan to decrease the dollarization of the Vietnamese economy.
