ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's opinion on the issue regarding executive compensation. He notes that executive pay only becomes a hot button when it seems out of proportion to the success of the company and everyone else who works there. However, he cites that it is about the widely hem notion that no matter what happens, the CEO always gets a big payday. He argues that while the workforce deals with layoffs, buyouts, the folks in the executive suite get golden parachutes when they fail.
