ABSTRACT
This article presents the author's views on the recent dispute between Palestine and Israel over the construction of a footbridge in the area of the Al Aqsa Mosque. Muslims claim that the construction and excavations are endangering the Mosque. The article holds that the decision to postpone the construction plan by the Mayor of Jerusalem is the right one. However, it urges the Palestine organization Hamas to show their leadership ability, and work for the common good of the people of Palestine.
