ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the author's comment regarding the Northern Rock PLC's financial crisis in Great Britain. According to the author, the problem seems to have been caused by a combination of factors, among them are the lenders' greedy underwriting policies, such as lending beyond what is prudent, which led to the credit market, short-term funding in particular, decelerate.
