ABSTRACT
The author comments on the message at the 2007 IAA auto show in Frankfurt, Germany which focused on environmental protection. From something called the Flextreme to fuel cells to fuel-saving tires, the IAA was all environment, all the time. Maybe automakers cannot unite on a solution for carbon dioxide emissions, but they certainly have agreed to market themselves as saviors of Mother Earth.
