ABSTRACT
In this article, the editor says despite the growth of and interest in consumer-generated media she does not think the need for expert marketing will disappear. At the American Marketing Association (AMA), the staff has been studying some of the services that provide customized news feeds for electronic delivery, many of which pull information off blogs. The author says if one of the bloggers happens on to an innovative idea, it will only benefit the industry as a whole.
