ABSTRACT
The author reflects on issues related to motherhood. She discusses her emotions toward the fact that her son will be leaving their home to study in London, England for three years. According to the author, there have been times when motherhood feels like home detention and enduring a child's adolescent years can feel like an abusive relationship, but motherhood also overflows with simple, precious times.
