ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the potential of Great Britain to maintain its energy reserves and to compete in the international market. He cites several factors hampering the country from competing globally which include the quality of country's power stations and the increasing commitment of the government to renewable energy sources. He further notes how the lack of vigor in formulating an achievable future power strategy widens the off-shoring gap.
