ABSTRACT
The author says that 2008 U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama should not visit Iraq with his opponent, John McCain. He compares the war in Iraq to the Vietnam War, and argues that if Obama visits Iraq, the generals and soldiers who protect him will give him a false sense of security and success. The author says that if Obama is mislead, he may waver on his commitment to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
