ABSTRACT
The article discusses Ricoh's Green Principle, formed in 1992, which include being carbon neutral, employing zero waste techniques and reducing carbon dioxide emissions among others. Focus is given on the Green Center, a warehouse in Wellingborough, which was opened in 2004 to manage the return of old printers and pressers taken out from printing firms, offices and in-house sites for reuse and recycling. These old machines are stripped and any working parts are reused as spares.
