ABSTRACT
The author shares his opinion on various topics. He views intransigence to be the keynote of the Paris Council of Foreign Ministers indicative of the mutual conviction of the Big Four that the decision on the fate of Trieste will determine the political direction of Europe. He believes more light is being thrown upon Catholic resistance to the enforced schism in the Ukraine. He doubts whether the policy resolution adopted during the convention of the United Steelworkers of America will end the fight between communists and legitimate trade unionists.
