ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the need for change in the lives of Americans by creating a new energy system in the U.S. He relates that his candidacy as governor of Montana under the Presidency of Democrat Barack Obama can help provide a new energy system. He notes that Obama realized the lack of platform for energy independence which is necessary to create a strong American energy system based on American innovation.
