The article discusses the importance to find the ideal person to replace Henry-Claude Cousseau at the head of the art school École nationale supérieur des beaux-arts, located in Paris, France. The author criticizes Cousseau's management of the school, which lasted ten years, and explains that an art historian would be better to preside the school.
