ABSTRACT
This essay deals with the opposition of Wendy Kenin, an Orthodox Jewish woman and executive director of the San Francisco, California chapter of the American Israel Friendship League, to the wall being built in the U.S.-Mexico border by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Kenin opposes the U.S.-Mexico border wall because it will affect the indigenous people who live along the International Boundary Zone. Kenin highlights the similarities between Jewish and Native American oppression.
