An essay is presented on the subject of sex education in Great Britain as of 2014. It compares the sex education required in British schools with those of other European countries including Germany and Sweden, which it says have far more comprehensive sex education curricula including social as well as biological perspectives. Topics include sex education in regular public schools versus free schools and academies, types of charter school, and rates of underage sex and unplanned pregnancy.
