ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Natalie Bartle, professor of the community health and prevention department of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, about the significance of talking with daughters about sex. She shares that daughters need guidance to help them navigate a safe and healthy path through an increasingly sexualized culture. Bartle believes that talking with children about sex, the better prepared they are to make good decisions about their sexual behavior. Middle school is the right time talking with younger daughter according to the professor.
