ABSTRACT
An interview with Kevin Walsh, senior vice president of GE-Hitachi (GEH) Nuclear Services, is presented. When asked to describe the challenging and rewarding Plant Life Extension projects undertaken by the company in the last five years in the U.S., he stated that GE-Hitachi has successfully managed the license renewal project for Dresden and Quad Cities and they provided technical support to several license renewal projects in the U.S. and in Europe.
