ABSTRACT
An interview with Alexandre Pauchard, chief technical advisor of Synova Inc., is presented. When asked on the uniqueness of the company's laser MicroJet technology, he states that the technology combines the advantages of water and laser cutting in one operation. He explains that the technology is useful in photovoltaics industry because it performs omnidirectional cutting, drilling and scribing.
