An interview with Michael R. Kansler, president, chief executive officer and chief nuclear officer of Entergy Nuclear Inc., is presented. When asked how the company applied innovation technology to ensure safety and efficient operation of its nuclear power plants, he refers a special department called Innovations Group for nuclear operations. Kansler discusses the status of plant license renewals and plant uprates. He explains the progress of Entergy using digital technology in its plants.
