ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Theo Van Rentergem, senior advisor at the Belgian Energy Administration in Belgium. Rentergem cites on the possibility of the Belgian government to give new impetus to its nuclear energy programmes, similar with its neighboring countries France and Great Britain. He reveals that the country's seven nuclear reactors are providing 55% of its nuclear requirements, along with imported gas and renewable energy sources.
