ABSTRACT
An interview with senior living environment and design experts Elizabeth C. Brawley, Mitchell S. Elliott, and Lisa M. Cini is presented. When asked about flooring options for senior living, Elliott considers space function in floor selection while Brawley and Cini chose carpet for resident rooms and hard floor coverings for sunrooms, respectively. They comment on the lighting in community retirement homes. They all discuss the right combination of furniture and décor for senior living.
